Next on LEGO VIP Program Changes: Introducing Personalized Shopper Program Allowing Automatic Payment Systems Like PayPal
As last month was ending, LEGO dropped a bombshell of sorts to members of their VIP program. These changes are connected to the further integration of digital features such as introducing e-VIP cards to their platform. VIP points will also be altered so that they could potentially remain valid indefinitely.
Of course, these changes are just part of a work in progress. A press release from LEGO shared by our fellow news source The Brick Fan reveals a new upcoming feature for the global toy giant’s VIP program. It’s called “Personalized Shopper” and it adds more options to how you want to receive your purchases.
The LEGO VIP Personalized Shopper program is set to debut sometime in the summer. It provides a wish list for VIP members; and any LEGO product added to that list is automatically purchased by LEGO and shipped to the member according to their specified time.
One caveat to this new feature is that VIP members must have an account on any recognized automatic payment platform such as PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay and have it registered to their VIP membership. The Personalized Shopper feature also requires a default shipping address for all purchased LEGO sets on the wish list.
LEGO’s initial phase for the VIP Personalized Shopper will have three program plans denoting the price range of allowed sets on a member’s wish list. VIP members can look forward to trying Personalized Shopper Bronze (1₵-$49.99), Silver ($50.00-$99.99) and Gold ($100+) anytime later this year.
